A Chinese military plane attempted to track and monitor a US private jet en route to Taiwan on the 2nd with US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on board, but failed due to US electronic interference, the Greater China media reported today (16th).

According to the Taiwan Free Times, Hong Kong's South China Morning Post and SCMP, unnamed military sources and military experts reported the news.

They explained that over the South China Sea and the Taiwan Strait, the Chinese military deployed Zen-16D electronic and electric and a fourth-generation type 055 destroyer to pursue Chairman Pelosi's private aircraft, but failed.

Specifically, it added, "Almost all electronic warfare equipment of the Chinese military did not function normally due to the exercise of the electronic warfare capability of the U.S. carrier strike force, which was ordered by the U.S. Department of Defense."

In fact, during Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, as well as during the Chinese military's retaliatory military exercises to block Taiwan, the US aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan and the carrier strike team stayed in the Philippine Sea to the south of Taiwan to prepare for an emergency.

Military expert Heu Anming said that it is not surprising that the Chinese military's ships failed to track the Pelosi aircraft. .

Andrei Chang, editor-in-chief of Canadian-based Kanwa Asian Defense, said on the 4th that the number of missiles fired by the Chinese military's Eastern Front in Taiwan and Japan were revealed as a warning that the missiles could be traced.

He added that the early warning radar 'Fave Force', installed at the Leshan Air Base belonging to the Taiwan Air Force's operational command division, played a role.
